Lindsay built Strength in Numbers after over two decades inside college basketball. She played at Davidson College and spent the next 18 years coaching at the collegiate level. She served as a head coach at Anderson University, where she inherited a 3-47 program and led it to a conference semifinal appearance within her tenure, while developing multiple All-Conference players. Most recently, she was the Director of Quality Control and Assistant Coach at Clemson University.

Like every coach, Lindsay spent countless hours in film rooms and scouting meetings preparing for opponents. That preparation increasingly included more and more statistics, but she kept coming back to the same problem: which of these numbers actually matter?

Most analytics added to the volume of information, but didn’t give clear direction. Scouting reports were filled with numbers, but few clearly answered which numbers actually drive winning.

So she left coaching and started building her own analytics system to isolate what matters. She focused on identifying the metrics that consistently correlate with winning outcomes, then translating those into clear, practical insights coaches could use in game strategy.

That work became the foundation for Strength in Numbers. Today, Lindsay works with programs competing at the highest level, including the University of Oklahoma, a top 10 program that recently advanced to the Sweet 16.

Lindsay created Strength in Numbers as the solution to the problem she faced as a coach. Her algorithm helps cut through all the noise of never-ending numbers and identify what actually leads to winning, so coaches have the clarity to apply it.

Because analytics shouldn’t complicate the game. They should make the path to winning clear.
